The University of Nebraska Graduate College invites graduate students and faculty to register to attend the 2026 NU Graduate College Workshop on April 23, 2026. This year's Workshop is sponsored by the University of Nebraska Artificial Intelligence Institute.
This no-cost workshop will bring together students and faculty from across the University of Nebraska's four campuses to discuss the use of AI in research and academia.

This year's Graduate College Workshop will have limited in-person attendance, with a virtual option open to everyone. Once the in-person capacity has been reached, all registrants will need to attend virtually. If you wish to join a waitlist for an in-person seat, that option may be selected during the registration process.
Workshop Leader: Dr. Andy Stapleton
This year’s Graduate College Workshops will be led by , a YouTuber with over 360,000 subscribers and millions of views, specializing in AI tools for academia and research.
Stapleton completed a PhD in chemistry in 2011 and spent one year in industry as an explosive chemist before returning to academia—where he spent 10 years conducting research into renewable energy and solar cells.
Today, he shares his experience of academia and helps others to make the right decision for their career on YouTube. His weekly videos include a wide range of topics, such as Ph.D. and research advice, AI tools for academia, productivity and writing tips and insights on academic success.
